HEARTH gov circle v2.tif

The HEARTH leadership team (HLT) comprises Gupta (Director), Davies, Mavrogianni, Hajat, Doherty, Birch and Howarth. It is accountable for ensuring that the UKRI objectives for the Hub are delivered, monitoring and evaluation activities undertaken, the cross-Hub engagement is strong and links with relevant broader UKRI and NIHR initiatives are built on, and that ongoing funding, planning and operational decisions are made effectively, openly and appropriately.

Governance

HEARTH is funded by the UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) and National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR). HEARTH is a complex, transdisciplinary, multi-partner Hub and as such requires effective Hub management. The HEARTH management structure will facilitate project engagement and interaction, aid the dissemination of results and ensure that researchers, non-academic partners and project partners attached to different Work Streams and Cross-cutting themes collaborate effectively.

HLT diagram v2.tif

The HEARTH Project Team (HPT) (pictured below) are responsible for the day-to-day research and operation of the Hub and the HEARTH consortium is where the HPT and Project Partners team up to address policy and practical application.

The HEARTH External Advisory Board (HEAB) will guide the scientific rigour, policy relevance and strategic direction of the Hub. It will be formed of external parties that HEARTH will be engaging with including representatives from our extensive team of Project Partners.
