HEARTH Research Hub Showcased Across Major National Conferences and Professional Events

Throughout 2025, the HEARTH Research Hub has achieved significant national visibility through invited presentations and keynote addresses at major conferences and professional events across the UK.
Faculty of Public Health Heat Health Masterclass (20 March 2025) – Prof Rajat Gupta presented on drivers of heat risk in care settings and the effectiveness of interventions, drawing on findings from the NERC-funded ClimaCare project. The online event reached over 100 participants from the NHS, public health organisations and local government.
UK Indoor Environment Group Conference, University of Leeds (19 June 2025) – HEARTH was launched to an audience of 75 delegates from academia, policy and industry, providing an important platform to introduce the hub’s aims and emerging themes.

Building Performance Network Annual Symposium, London (2 July 2025) – attended by over 100 practitioners, policymakers, industry stakeholders and academics.
UKRI Clean Air Conference, National Physical Laboratory (9 July 2025) – attended by 80 delegates from academia, industry and policy.
