Symposium for Environmental Epidemiology in East Asia

Professor Shakoor Hajat introduced HEARTH in a keynote talk on current priorities for climate and health research at the 2026 Symposium for Environmental Epidemiology in East Asia, held at Seoul National University on 1st February 2026. He engaged with leading scholars to discuss air pollution, climate change, and future directions for regional collaboration in environmental epidemiology.  He also delivered keynotes entitled “Current Climate and Health Research in the UK” as part of the Seminar Series at Nagasaki University, Japan, on 30 January 2026, and at the University of Tokyo, Japan, as part of the Lecture Series in Global Health Policy on 27 January 2026.
